About me
I believe counselling should be affordable and accessible for everyone, not something people feel priced out of or have to wait months to receive. That belief comes from my own experience of receiving low‑cost counselling in Lowestoft, which changed my life. It’s why my fees are kept low and why I offer flexible ways to access support
I’m a person‑centred counsellor based in Lowestoft, offering a calm, grounded space where you can talk openly without judgement or pressure.
How I work
As a person-centred counsellor, I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life, and my role is to listen with empathy, honesty, and understanding to help you gain clarity and self-awareness. I work collaboratively, building a trusting relationship where you feel heard, valued, and accepted, supporting you to make sense of challenges and move towards positive change
My practice is inclusive, trauma‑aware, neurodiversity‑affirming and LGBTQ+ friendly.
Sessions are available:
- In‑person in my discreet, private Lowestoft therapy room
- Online
- Telephone
These flexible formats help make counselling more accessible, especially for those who are neurodivergent, house‑based, or prefer quieter, home‑based support.
What I can help with
I support adults with a wide range of experiences, including:
- Anxiety, stress and overwhelm
- Low mood and depression
- Relationship difficulties
- Blended family challenges
- Men’s mental health and identity
- Midlife transitions
- Menopause and perimenopause support
- Self‑esteem and confidence
- Grief, loss and life changes
- Feeling stuck, lost or disconnected
Men’s mental health support
I have a particular interest in supporting men who may find it difficult to open up or who feel pressure to “just get on with it”. My work with local rugby communities has shown me how powerful it can be when men are given a safe, private space to talk honestly.
Blended families support
Blended families can be loving and complex. I offer a space to explore roles, boundaries, communication, loyalty conflicts, and the emotional load that often goes unseen.
