Psychotherapist & Couples Therapist | MSc(Psych), Dip(Couns)

About me

Hello and welcome.

Do you find that you are constantly questioning yourself - perhaps feeling anxious, unable to switch off, or noticing a low mood without a clear reason?

Maybe you are in the midst of a life change - becoming a parent, navigating a new career path, or facing uncertainty about what lies ahead- and it’s all starting to feel like too much.

As an experienced therapist specialising in anxiety, maternal mental health, relationships, relational trauma and self-worth, I work with individuals and couples who feel overwhelmed, struggle with anxiety, low mood, or experience persistent self-doubt or relationship difficulties.

My approach is warm and respectful, rooted in the belief that we all have the capacity to make meaningful changes.

As I work with both individuals and couples, my experience in each area complements the other, offering a broader perspective on personal and relational dynamics.

Reaching out for therapy can be really hard. So I offer a 15-minute discovery call to discuss how I may be able to support you, and you can ask me any questions you may have.

For more information and resources, please visit my website. You can also book an initial call using the online booking calendar on my website.

Where I offer Therapy

Currently, I offer sessions from two locations; Braintree and Colchester. Both locations offer peaceful and welcoming spaces. Additionally, I offer online sessions.

My Experience

I am a UKCP registered experienced psychotherapist. I have provided counselling and psychotherapy in a variety of settings, including charitable organisations and the NHS, and have experience of working with people (18+) from diverse backgrounds.

Some of the issues I have helped people with in the past include:

  • relationship issues, communication problems, affairs
  • anxiety
  • depression and low mood
  • low self-esteem
  • life transitions (becoming a parent, changing jobs, retirement, relocation, children leaving home etc.)
  • stress management
  • grief and loss
  • trauma and trust issues
  • unresolved childhood experiences

In addition, I have special interests in neurodivergence, low self-esteem and attachment.

Length and format of therapy

I offer short, medium and long-term therapy depending on your needs and preference.

What happens in our first meeting?

At our first session, we can discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and how we might work together. Understanding your expectations, aims and hopes from the therapy process is important.
