BACP REGISTERED COUNSELLORS

Experience Real Change with Chrystal Therapy

Anxiety can feel relentless. Trauma can feel overwhelming. Whether you are struggling yourself or watching your child struggle, it can be difficult to know what step to take next.

At Chrystal Therapy, we provide BACP registered specialist counselling for children, young people and adults who want steady, evidence-based support and lasting change.

We are a Worcestershire based practice offering online therapy across the UK alongside face to face appointments at satellite locations in Worcestershire and central London. Our work focuses on anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism and trauma, supporting individuals and families to regain clarity, confidence and emotional stability.

Therapy With Purpose

This is not passive listening.

Our approach is structured, thoughtful and trauma-informed. We combine emotional exploration with practical strategies so that progress feels meaningful and sustainable rather than temporary.

We work with children experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties or behavioural challenges. We work with teenagers navigating confidence, identity and academic pressures. We work with adults managing anxiety, burnout, trauma or major life transitions.

Using CBT-informed strategies, person-centred therapy and neurodiversity-affirming practice, we help clients reduce anxiety and panic, strengthen emotional regulation, build self-esteem and confidence, process trauma safely and develop long-term resilience.

Chrystal Therapy is led by qualified psychotherapists providing specialist sessions for children, young people and adults. All practitioners maintain full BACP registration, ongoing clinical supervision and regular professional development in our specialist areas including ADHD, neurodivergence and trauma-informed practice.

We also offer reduced fee appointments with supervised trainee counsellors, ensuring therapy remains accessible within a clinically supported and ethically governed framework. Trainee placements are carefully supervised and clients are informed about their therapist's status before booking.

Training, qualifications & experience

Specialist Counselling for Neurodivergent Children, Young People, Adults and Families

Chrystal Therapy is a specialist counselling practice supporting people navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma and emotional overwhelm. We work with children, young people, adults and families who have often felt misunderstood, dismissed or unseen by services that weren't built with their brains in mind.

All therapists are qualified, insured and registered members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Our clinical work is informed by training in CBT, DBT skills, trauma focused and neurodiversity affirming approaches, with ongoing professional development to ensure ethical, evidence informed and clinically effective care.

As the practice grows, we carefully select therapists who share our commitment to neurodiversity affirming, structured and measurable practice. Not therapists who see neurodivergent clients occasionally, but those who centre their work around genuine understanding of how different brains process, feel and relate.

Professional Standards You Can Trust

All counsellors practise in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework and receive regular clinical supervision. We follow robust safeguarding procedures, maintain enhanced DBS checks and uphold secure data protection standards.

Therapy is delivered using structured, evidence based approaches tailored to your goals. Progress is tracked and measurable. Not vague or open ended. You will know what we are working on, why, and how things are moving.

Struggling with ADHD or Autism?

Therapy That Actually Understands Neurodivergence

Living with ADHD or autism can feel exhausting. Whether you are navigating school demands, parenting challenges, workplace pressures, burnout or a recent diagnosis that has rewritten everything you thought you knew about yourself.

You may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood or constantly masking in order to survive systems not designed for you. You may have tried therapy before and found it too slow, too vague, or delivered by someone who clearly didn't get it.

This is different.

We provide structured, neurodiversity affirming and trauma informed therapy that respects how your brain actually works. Not how a textbook says it should. Our focus is on strengthening emotional regulation, executive functioning and communication while developing practical strategies that support confidence, self understanding and sustainable relationships.

We use structured therapeutic tracking tools to monitor neurodivergent specific progress markers, ensuring therapy remains focused, measurable and goal aligned rather than drifting without direction.

Why Clients Choose Chrystal Therapy

We are not a generic counselling service that happens to accept neurodivergent clients. Neurodivergence is our specialism. Every aspect of how we work, the language, the pacing, the environment, the communication style, is shaped by genuine understanding of ADHD, autism and the overlap between neurodivergence and trauma.

We work alongside schools, SENCOs, families and other professionals because therapy in isolation rarely creates lasting change for a child. We understand EHCPs, masking profiles, PDA presentations, sensory overwhelm, rejection sensitivity and the particular grief that comes with late diagnosis.

We don't pathologise difference. We don't mistake a nervous system response for a behaviour problem. And we don't make parents feel judged for struggling.

Clients choose us because they have spent too long explaining themselves to professionals who didn't quite get it. And they are done with that.

Change Begins with One Conversation

Imagine life with less anxiety, clearer focus and stronger emotional balance. Imagine your child being supported by someone who understands their world without needing it explained.

Book a friendly, no pressure consultation. Online, in person or hybrid. Together we will clarify your goals and begin practical steps you can apply straight away. Flexible options include weekly, short term and tailored sessions built around your life, not around a rigid model that doesn't fit how you work.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
