About me
Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning, anxious, and self-critical — people who can’t switch off no matter how hard they try. I’m here to help you find steadier ground, where rest feels safe and you can finally exhale.
If this sounds familiar, you might recognise yourself in what follows...
- Your mind is always on—fifty tabs open, none of them quiet.
- There’s always something to fix, control, or get right.
- You’re terrified of getting something wrong. “Feedback” feels like failure.
- You replay conversations, rewrite emails, and double-check locks and feelings alike.
- Rest doesn’t help. It just reminds you're not doing something you "should be doing".
- You can’t remember the last time you could just be.
- You don't know how to stop.
How I can help
People like you, come and see me. I will help you move from control to calm, from striving to self-trust.
I won't just nod along, never challenging you, nor will I treat you like a "patient" with a one-size-fits-all approach. I put you, not the method, first.
You get a tailored approach.
I help you loosen your grip so you can feel steady, grounded, and at ease in your own skin.
What people I have worked with have said
"I feel so much less anxious now. I've gained a new perspective and finally understand what I need to do to move forward." - S.K., Former Client
"It helped so much to have the support and freedom to talk in a non-judgemental space. I felt I could say things I couldn't with other people." - A.P., Former Client
"Just reaching out and having someone to talk to has made all the difference. It's the help I knew I needed." - M.T., Former Client
What to do next
You've been white-knuckling life for long enough.
It doesn’t have to stay this way.
Together, we can quiet the noise, soften the inner critic, and build a steadier rhythm that feels more human. You don’t have to earn your rest or prove your worth — you just have to start.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
