About me
I am an integrative counsellor and a Trim Practitioner (Trauma Risk Management) and offer a confidential and safe space to explore difficult areas in your life at your pace. I am experienced in working with individuals with the following difficulties. Anxiety, depression, bereavement, eating disorders, childhood abuse, domestic abuse, grooming, trauma and anger. Many issues can arise out of difficult attachment issues from childhood and these can be explored with that in mind. I use a range of approaches but these are all based on seeing you as unique and valued.
I am an ex Paramedic and have much experience in working with people who have suffered trauma in various ways. I offer a calm and grounded approach where a client can feel held and supported.

Member organisations
The Association of Christians in Counselling and Linked Professions (ACC) is a Christian professional membership organisation for those involved in counselling/psychotherapy and linked professions, i.e. pastoral care, coaching and spiritual direction, in the UK. The organisation is made up of various different membership categories, including Counsellor and Accredited, and requires all members working as counsellors to undertake Continuous Professional Development on a regular basis.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
