About me
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and asking for help is a powerful first step. Many of the people I work with are facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, or navigating life with autism. Others come to therapy because of parenting pressures, trauma, long-term health conditions, or the lasting impact of difficult life experiences. Whatever your reason for seeking support, my aim is to offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect. I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a partnership, where we explore your experiences together at your pace. Over the years, I’ve supported individuals and families facing a wide range of emotional, psychological, and systemic difficulties, which has given me a deep appreciation for how unique each person’s journey is.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the University of Leeds, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My style is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Relational approaches, Attachment Theory, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Existentialism. This allows me to adapt our work to suit your individual needs, personality, and goals, whether that’s managing distress, building resilience, or simply getting to know yourself more deeply.
Therapy can provide a safe place to untangle complex feelings, make sense of past or present experiences, and explore new ways of coping. Sometimes this means working through painful memories or patterns that are holding you back; other times, it’s about recognising your strengths, building confidence, and moving towards a more fulfilling life.
If you’re looking for a therapist who brings warmth, insight, and a strong foundation in both psychotherapy and real-world experience, I’d love to hear from you. Whether you are seeking space to process something difficult or simply wish to understand yourself better, I will walk alongside you as you find clarity, confidence, and a stronger connection to your own story.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
