Welcome. I am a qualified and experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I work in the beautiful surroundings of Rural Devon and have a private therapy room situated in a Health Spa in Chulmleigh.
Counselling offers you the space and opportunity to explore a difficult experience and your thoughts and feelings about this in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment. The counselling sessions are confidential and the therapeutic work focuses on what you want to share and would like to achieve or gain from Counselling.
I offer a reduced rate, no obligation 1 hour initial consultation which gives you the opportunity to decide if you feel counselling would be beneficial and helpful for you.

Since 2001, through my work with the NHS (Children's Services) and Local Charities and Agencies including: Journey Counselling Service, CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health) Exeter Homeless Action Group and Age Concern, I have been supporting children and their families and also adults with a wide range of difficulties: trauma, relationships, depression and anxiety.
I have a current Enhanced DBS Check (formerly CRB).
As a Registered member of the BACP, I work within their Ethical Framework and have regular supervision.

My private practice is based in the tranquil surroundings Chulmleigh in rural Devon, near Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks and within easy reach of both Exeter and Barnstaple.
I offer a reduced rate of £20.00 for a 1 hour, no obligation initial consultation and thereafter my fees are as follows:
£40 per hour for an Individual Counselling Session.
£20 per hour for Supervision (from April 2019)
