About me

Hi, I'm Chloe

I provide a warm and welcoming space where young people can freely explore their emotions and navigate any challenges they might be facing. With over 16 years of experience as a youth worker and now a Masters  qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor specialising in child and adolescent support, I'm here to offer compassionate assistance to your child.

Navigating mental health and emotional needs in children can be tough, and I believe open communication with parents is key to providing effective support for the young person.

My journey began with a charity, supporting young people facing various challenges, this fuelled my passion to become a Psychodynamic Counsellor. Since then, I've helped young individuals from diverse backgrounds overcome or come to terms with a wide range of difficulties and adverse experiences.

I specialise in areas such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, bereavement or loss in general and more, employing psychodynamic counselling techniques to address the root causes of distress. Additionally, I incorporate creative methods like symbolic play and therapeutic art to make therapy engaging and comfortable for young minds.

If you're interested in learning more about how I can support your young person, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to listen and help in any way I can.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
