About me
Hello, I’m Chipapa, an integrative therapist offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, especially when you are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, postnatal challenges, relationship difficulties, cultural pressures, or the lasting impact of difficult life experiences. My aim is to create a space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace.
I work with adults from all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life, and I deeply value creating an inclusive environment where each person feels respected and accepted for who they are. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs and experiences.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from psychodynamic and relational approaches, allowing us to explore both present challenges and the deeper patterns or experiences that may be influencing how you feel today. Together, we can work towards greater self-understanding, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
As a Black woman, I also understand the importance of feeling culturally understood and emotionally safe within therapy. I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating cultural identity, societal pressures, motherhood, relationships, and emotional well-being, while welcoming and supporting people of all races, cultures, genders, and backgrounds.
I offer online, telephone, and in-person therapy, as well as group sessions that encourage healing through shared connection and support.
My approach is warm, empathic, and supportive, with the belief that you should never feel alone in what you are going through. From our very first session, the focus will be on you, your experiences, your goals, and the support you need.
I offer a free 30-minute consultation where we can discuss your needs and explore whether we feel like the right fit to work together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
