About me

Life can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of who we are beneath the stress of everything we carry. I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace and feel genuinely heard.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, boundary struggles, and periods of feeling lost or disconnected. I understand that reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, and I aim to offer a supportive and grounded environment where you can feel safe to talk openly without judgement.

My foundation is person-centred counselling, while also integrating IFS-informed and somatic approaches where appropriate. This means we may gently explore not only thoughts and emotions, but also how stress, trauma, and life experiences can affect the body, nervous system, relationships, and emotional well-being.

Rooted in care. Growing in strength. Flourishing in life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling, and I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

Alongside my core counselling training, I have completed additional professional development in trauma-informed therapy, somatic therapy for complex trauma, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed practice, relational trauma, safeguarding, suicide awareness, and the Violence Prevention Ambassador Programme. I have also trained in Life Coaching, NLP Master Practitioner, Walk and Talk Counselling, and Yoga Teacher Training.

Alongside my counselling training, I have supported both adults and young people experiencing a wide range of emotional and life challenges, including grief, anxiety, confidence difficulties, isolation, and major life transitions. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how different environments, relationships, and life experiences can shape emotional well-being across different stages of life.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
