About me

I can help you to:

  • Manage recurring feelings of anxiety
  • Improve confidence
  • Develop distress tolerance
  • Escape unhealthy cycles of behaviour
  • Navigate difficult relationships
  • Process trauma

How I can help you

  • We'll work together to create change by noticing patterns in your thoughts and responses, and I'll support you in exploring alternative ways of understanding and approaching them.
  • Sessions take place in a safe, compassionate space where you can feel heard and understood, and where we can work together to make sense of difficult emotions.
  • Before starting counselling, we will have a free introductory video call, lasting up to 30 minutes, so that you can decide if I'm the right counsellor for you before committing to sessions.
  • Flexible sessions times from Monday to Thursday, online and in person (Barford based) to fit into your busy schedule.

The easiest way to book a consultation call is to choose an available timeslot via the 'Book intro call' button. Alternatively, you can contact me by email if you can't see a day and time that works for you.

Although you might not feel like it right now, you have it within you to deal with uncertainty, navigate life's challenges and thrive as your best self. My role is to help you to get there.

You are in control of your therapeutic journey and I empower my clients to use their sessions as needed. Whatever your reason for seeking help, I want to say "Well done!" for putting yourself first and taking the first step towards change, no matter how big or small your problem may seem to you.

Training, qualifications & experience

My educational background is rooted in psychology. I did my Undergraduate and Masters degrees in Psychology at Newcastle University and Northumbria University, respectively, before moving down to Warwickshire and becoming a qualified and registered counsellor.

I've worked in crisis support with SHOUT, as a Mental Health Lead within the education sector and provided counselling to adults through New Hope, a low cost counselling agency.

I now run my own private practice, offering in person and online tailored counselling sessions to adults. I have a comfortable counselling room based in Barford (with fidgets!) to help you to feel safe, seen and supported.

I understand how life-changing therapy can be. Through my own personal experience, I was able to let go of old beliefs and behaviours that were holding me back and start living a life free from shame and distress.

Maybe I can help you, too?

I have supported individuals with a range of problems, including:

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • relational difficulties
  • anger
  • eating disorders
  • bereavement
  • neurodiversity
  • major life changes
  • perfectionism
  • self-harm
  • suicidal ideation

Please note my services are not for crisis response. If you need urgent help, please call 999, the Samaritans 116 123 or text SHOUT on 85258.

My qualifications

  • Masters of Science (MSc) in Psychology
  • BA Hons in Psychology with French
  • Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
  • Level 3 in Counselling
  • Level 2 in Counselling Skills

Are you ready to get started?

If you're feeling ready to take the next step, scroll back up to the top of this page and click 'Book Intro Call'. It's the quickest way to get started and find a time that works for you.

If you can't see a date and time that works for you, please get in touch via email. I look forward to hearing from you!
