About me
Life can feel overwhelming - whether it’s relationship stress, family conflict, separation, loss, or major life changes. I provide a calm, confidential space to explore your experiences, gain insight, and find ways to cope and move forward.
I work with adults and young adults on a wide range of emotional and relational issues, including:
- Anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, and emotional overwhelm.
- Neurodivergence, ADHD, OCD, Autism and addictions.
- Separation, divorce, child-sharing disputes.
- Relationship difficulties: couples, partners, communication breakdown, breaches of trust.
- Domestic and mental abuse, controlling relationships, legal or court-related stress.
- Life transitions: bereavement, redundancy, retirement.
- Family challenges: parent-child or sibling confilict, blended families, and children leaving home.
- Personal growth, self-understanding, emotional stability, resilience.
How I work:
- I take a flexible, client-centred approach, tailoring therapy to your needs. While my foundation is person-centred, I draw on a variety of approaches:
- Practical strategies for change: Using solution-focused methods, we explore small steps and build on your strengths to reach your goals.
- Understanding patterns in relationships: I consider how your connections with family, partners, or colleagues influence your experiences and help you explore new ways of relating.
- Exploring emotional responses: Drawing on attachment-informed insights, we look at how past experiences may affect your feelings and behaviours today.
- Managing thoughts and emotions: Where helpful, I incorporate cognitive-behavioural tools to recognise unhelpful thinking and develop practical coping strategies.
I offer face-to-face sessions in a private, comfortable setting and online counselling. A brief introductory call allows us to discuss your needs and see if working together feels right.
