About me
I’m an Integrative Counsellor working with individuals and couples who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety or disconnection.
I use CBT approaches to help you understand and calm Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD).
I offer a warm and friendly therapeutic relationship which explores the deeper patterns behind your anxiety. I integrate CBT tools (among others) to help you understand and begin to challenge constant worry and overthinking.
This often includes working with the physical symptoms of anxiety, understanding the worry cycle and building confidence in your ability to cope.
I have worked successfully alongside clients who felt "stuck" or who needed change and personal development.
I, also, help people who are struggling in their relationships. Often, early experiences create patterns of worry and low self-esteem. This can lead to people pleasing, perfectionism, low self-worth etc. Our sessions can explore new ways of relating to others and building self-worth.
I support couples who struggle with communication. I help the couple understand what is going on under the surface. There are often unmet needs, unexpressed feelings and triggers linked to past experiences. I encourage respectful and open communication, in equal measure from each partner. This can lead to new insights, increased understanding and new ways of relating.
I work face to face in Woodley/ Online on Google Meet.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
