About me
Sometimes life wobbles. Things can feel noisy or overwhelming on the inside, even if you appear fine on the outside. You might be experiencing loss, burnout, anxiety, identity shifts, or just feeling stuck. You may not be sure what’s troubling you, but you know that something doesn’t feel quite right.
I see therapy as a relaxed and thoughtful conversation, with us working together towards goals that matter to you. At times, this work may feel ‘comfortably uncomfortable’ as we explore more difficult areas.
My aim is for you to always feel safe, supported and encouraged, knowing that what you share is treated confidentially and with respect. While therapy is often a place of stillness and focus, I also bring a sense of humour when it feels right. Sometimes, one conversation, or having something gently noticed, can begin to change things.
I don’t see myself as the expert on your life - you are. My role is to understand your world through your eyes and explore what might be holding you back, what feels difficult, and what could help you move forward. Taking the step into therapy can feel big, bewildering, or even scary. I’ve experienced firsthand how therapy can make a real difference, and I’ve seen the positive impact it can have on people’s lives.
I’m neurodivergent-affirming and work alongside people in the emergency services. This gives me insight into pressure, trauma, and what it can feel like to keep going for others while putting your own needs aside. Research shows it isn’t the technique that heals, but the relationship between client and therapist. That’s why finding the right fit matters. If you’d like to see whether we might work well together, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

Further information
Sessions are 50 minutes and usually take place weekly, although we can work together to find what feels right for you.
I offer a free initial 30-minute conversation, which can be by phone, online, or in person. This is a chance to ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
Sessions are available face to face in St Albans and Berkhamsted, or online.
Both locations offer a calm and private space to talk.
You’re welcome to get in touch by email or message.
Everything we discuss is confidential, and I will explain more about this in our first session.
