About me
Helping you find your way through the tough moments.
Life can feel overwhelming sometimes. You might be navigating the end of a relationship, grieving someone you love, or adjusting to changes you never expected. Maybe you’re feeling alone with it all, unsure how to move forward or even make sense of what’s going on inside.
You don’t have to face any of this on your own.
I offer a gentle, supportive space where you can express yourself freely — without pressure or judgement. Together, we can explore what you’re experiencing, understand the impact it’s having on you, and help you rebuild your confidence, clarity, and inner strength.
I’m a qualified counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I work with adults and teenagers facing many different challenges, with a particular focus on relationship problems, breakups, and the emotional complexity of loss and bereavement.
Alongside my private practice, I support families through The Joshua Tree, a charity working with those affected by childhood cancers. This work has deepened my appreciation for how varied and personal grief can be — and how important it is to feel truly seen and supported.
Therapy is a place where you can take things at your own pace. We’ll look at what you need right now, and gently help you move towards feeling more grounded, connected, and hopeful again.
I currently offer online sessions on alternate Saturdays. If you’re interested in seeing me in person in my welcoming therapy room in Burton Latimer, please get in touch to join the waiting list.
If any of this resonates, I’d love to hear from you. You’re welcome to contact me for a free initial chat or to check my current availability.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
