About me
Hello, I’m Caroline, a qualified counsellor with a background in Psychology from Queen Margaret University and further training from Edinburgh University. My own experience of counselling has shown me how transformative this process can be, inspiring my dedication to supporting others on their journey toward greater understanding and growth.
I work within a person-centred approach, creating a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your feelings without judgment. I also draw from psychodynamic theories to help you gain deeper insight into how past experiences and unconscious patterns influence your present life. Together, we'll work at your own pace to find clarity, resilience, and well-being.
I offer in-person sessions in Portobello on Mondays, in Dalkeith Tuesday to Friday evenings, as well as online and telephone sessions. To start, I offer a free 30-minute introductory session so we can discuss your needs and see if we’re a good fit. If you're ready to take the next step or have questions, please get in touch—I’d be happy to hear from you.
