About me

My name is Caroline, and I am a registered Integrative Counsellor who likes to provide a warm, safe, non-judgmental space where you will be accepted, listened to and
respected.

I believe when given this space to explore your struggles in a way that makes sense to you, it can enable you to cope better with everyday life.

With so many struggling I believe it’s really important to be able to talk through how you are feeling, and I recognise choosing to see a counsellor can be a huge step and reaching out for help isn't easy. If you decide to go forward with counselling this will be your space to speak about whatever's bothering you, with me supporting you every step of the way as you move towards a better place.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I am able to work with different models and approaches to help each of my clients work through their specific issues. This could involve psychodynamic therapy that looks into childhood, cognitive behavioural therapy or any other therapeutic technique that would be helpful for you. One of the ways I particularly love to work, and like to offer my clients, is through creative techniques.

I work with many different issues including depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, stress, low self esteem, anger management, grief & loss, relationships and trauma.

For almost six years I have led a listening support service for those within marginalised communities who are battling with their mental health and thoughts of suicide.

I have also volunteered for a charity supporting survivors of complex trauma and those with Dissociative identity disorder (DID).

I currently have availability and I’m offering face to face sessions in Royston as well as sessions online and by telephone.

I also offer a free 30 minute telephone consultation for you to explore if I’m the right counsellor for you.
