About me

I’m a therapist passionate about helping people heal from addiction, anxiety, ADHD, low self-esteem, and the lasting effects of childhood trauma and sexual abuse. I specialize in substance misuse and understand the deep emotional roots often tied to addiction and mental health challenges.

My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and build healthier coping strategies.

I’m especially drawn to working with individuals who feel stuck in patterns shaped by trauma or negative self-beliefs. Through collaborative, tailored support, I help clients strengthen their self-worth, improve emotional regulation, and reconnect with a sense of purpose and identity.

Whether you're working through recovery, managing ADHD, or healing from past trauma, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and the belief that meaningful change is possible.

Drugs and Alcohol Therapy.

Substance misuse can be a deeply overwhelming and isolating experience, often fuelled by unresolved trauma, difficult emotions, and a deep sense of shame or guilt. Many individuals turn to drugs or alcohol as a way to numb emotional pain or cope with distressing thoughts they may not yet fully understand. Over time, this coping mechanism can become a cycle that's hard to break, leaving people feeling stuck, disconnected, and unsure of how to move forward. As a therapist, I help clients explore the underlying issues driving their substance use—whether it's trauma, low self-worth, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm—and work with them to recognize and regulate their emotions in healthier, more empowering ways. Therapy offers a safe, compassionate space to process shame, confront difficult memories, and begin healing from the inside out. With support, individuals can build new coping strategies, reclaim their sense of self, and move toward lasting change and recovery.

Free 15 minute consultation

I offer a free 15-minute consultation to give you the chance to explore whether therapy with me feels like the right fit. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where we can briefly discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and how I work. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the process. There’s no obligation to commit—just a space to see if we're a good match before moving forward. If you're unsure where to start, this can be a helpful first step toward getting support.
