About me

Life can sometimes feel heavy- emotionally, mentally, or in ways that are too hard to explain.

I’m a psychologist with extensive experience helping young people and adults navigate a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, bereavement, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck in patterns of overthinking, emotional pain, or unhelpful coping strategies. Therapy offers a space to begin sustainably shifting those patterns.

My approach is grounded in both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic models, allowing us to work flexibly, addressing immediate symptoms while exploring the deeper emotional roots of what you're experiencing. I aim to create a space that is both reflective and practical, where insight can lead to real, lasting change.

I also work with individuals navigating anger, family issues, workplace stress, and identity or relational challenges. I support neurodivergent adults — including those with autism and ADHD — in understanding themselves more fully and building resilience in everyday life.

Therapy doesn’t need to be a last resort — it can be the first step toward clarity, confidence, and emotional ease.

I offer both online and face-to-face sessions, which are accessible, flexible, and discreet.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, registered with the BPS and HCPC, with experience across private practice, psychiatric settings, and locum work in the NHS. My training meets the British Psychological Society’s highest standards, including doctoral-level qualifications and extensive supervised clinical practice. This allows me to work confidently with a wide range of mental health concerns — from anxiety and low self-esteem to trauma, OCD, and more complex presentations.

Whether you’re seeking help with long-standing difficulties or finding things hard to manage right now, I offer a reflective, evidence-based space to explore what’s going on and find ways forward.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
