Bethany Thornton BA(Hons) Dip HE Couns. MBACP Accredited and Registered
18 Canberra Drive
I am a qualified, experienced and BACP registered and accredited counsellor and can provide counselling sessions either in my comfortable counselling room in my home or I can offer home visits, telephone or online counselling via Skype. Be assured that you will receive a friendly and welcoming approach from me, so please get in contact and we can discuss your requirements in confidence. I offer a discounted rate for the first session so that you can make an informed decision about whether you would like to work with me.
I offer Person-Centred Counselling which firmly believes in the therapeutic relationship between the client and counsellor. I provide an emotionally supportive, non-judgemental and compassionate environment, where you can feel safe to talk openly about what is concerning you. Through careful listening, reflection and professional insight I will provide you with space to think things through and support you in exploring the different aspects of the problems you’re facing, so that you can gain clarity in what is happening in your life, heal from any past hurts and find hope for the future.
I also have knowledge and experience of using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Transactional Analysis and can integrate this within the counselling session if we both agree that it will be helpful.
