About me
A lot of men are really struggling right now and reaching out for support can feel difficult.
I'm a 26-year-old BACP-registered male counsellor, and I work with men from all different backgrounds as well as adults of all ages. Being part of Gen Z myself, I have a genuine understanding of many of the pressures people face in today's world
Mental health doesn't belong to any particular age group. Whether you're 18 or 80, one of the hardest things for many men can simply be recognising that you're struggling and making the decision to ask for help. I provide a non-judgmental space where I not only hear what you are going through, but truly listen and understand.
I can help you to understand your feelings, and find ways for you to face and overcome your challenges.
I am particularly experienced in working with the many issues that men in my age group currently face such as loneliness, depression, anxiety and neurodiversity. Throughout my work, I draw on evidence based approaches such as CBT and Person Centered Theory which is designed to help you feel deeply understood as well as give you the tools and skills towards making positive changes in your life
I have rich experience working in the criminal justice system, addiction treatment and supported living.
If you are curious about what therapy might be like, I provide a free initial consultation so we can talk about the issues you are facing and how I can help.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am currently a BACP registered therapist currently working towards achieving full accreditation with the BACP by the end of 2026. In January 2027 I will begin the journey of completing an Msc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with the university of Birkbeck
I have been working in the field of mental health since 2020 and possess extensive experience working in forensic, addiction treatment and supported living settings
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
