About me
Hello and a warm welcome. My name is Becky and I am an Integrative Counsellor. I offer a compassionate, personalised counselling approach for people experiencing a wide range of issues to adults and young people of all genders. My aim is to hold a safe, non-judgemental space where you will be listened to with warmth, acceptance and empathy. Enabling you to explore the challenges you are experiencing and help you find your own solutions. I believe that you are the expert in your own life.
I am not going to judge or provide advice. I will be listening to every clients individual experiences with empathy. There is never any expectation to discuss anything you do not want to, these are your sessions led by you. I offer both short term and long term counselling sessions, these can be face to face or online.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold CPCAB level 2, 3 certificates in Counselling and 4 Diploma in Counselling. I also hold CPCAB level 5 Diploma in counselling children and Young People.
Additional trauma training provided by Choices Counselling
I hold enhanced DBS, safeguarding trained for Children and vulnerable adults.
Working for Choices Counselling based in Cambridge for 5 years both as a volunteer and Associate counsellor. Working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse on a long term bases.
School counselling experience working with Young People to explore, make sense of their world ,build resilience and understand themselves.
Private Practice based in Ramsey, face to face and online counselling. Providing counselling for a wide range of issues people face.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
