About me

I am a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, offering therapy in central London and online.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. You might be going through a difficult time, struggling with your thoughts or emotions, or simply feeling that something isn’t quite right. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and begin to make sense of what’s going on for you.

I believe that feeling comfortable with your therapist is an important part of the process. I aim to provide a calm, supportive environment where you feel listened to and understood, and where we can work together at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach is psychodynamic, which means we may explore how past experiences and relationships are affecting how you feel in the present. This can help you develop a better understanding of yourself, ease emotional distress, and support lasting change.

I offer both open-ended therapy and shorter, time-limited counselling, with sessions taking place once a week. You can choose to meet in person in central London (near St Paul’s and City Thameslink) or online.

I work with a range of difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety, stress, and feeling overwhelmed
  • Low mood and depression
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Trauma and the effects of difficult experiences
  • Eating difficulties and concerns around food
  • Addiction
  • Experiences of abuse
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Work-related issues and life changes

I work in a trauma-informed way, which means we prioritise your sense of safety and move at a pace that feels manageable for you.

I offer a free no obligation phone call so that we can talk about your concerns and you can ask any questions. The next step is an initial consultation, either in person or online to understand your history and your hopes for therapy. If we then feel we can work together, we agree on a weekly appointment time and begin.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at WPF Therapy and am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and a member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC). I follow the professional and ethical standards set by these organisations and am registered with a Professional Standards Authority accredited register. I also hold full professional indemnity insurance.

I have experience working with adults from a wide range of backgrounds, supporting people with different emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, and eating disorders.

I offer both longer-term psychotherapy and shorter-term counselling, depending on what feels right for you, either in person in London or online.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
