About me
I have been practising counselling and working as a hypnotherapist since 2012, with extensive experience in personal development. My interest in these fields began in my teenage years and has only deepened over time.
I lead popular workshops and training sessions, such as "Who Am I? Discover Yourself." Our events, including "Coffee with a counsellor", "Conversations between Two Hypnotherapists", "Walk for the Body, Mind, and Soul", "Femininity and Masculinity Coffee," and "Celebrating Life Energy" consistently draw significant interest.
My primary areas of expertise include interpersonal relationships and complex grief and loss. My therapeutic practice and interests span a wide range of areas, from working with genograms and exploring the mind-body-emotion connection to accessing inner wisdom, addressing mood disorders, managing burnout, practising forgiveness, exploring conscious parenting, and fostering self-love through enhanced self-esteem, lasting motivation, and self-discipline.
I take an individualised and holistic approach to therapy, tailoring methods and techniques to the specific needs and personalities of each client. As such, I am most aligned with the integrative approach to psychotherapy. During my studies, I gained in-depth knowledge of systemic, psychodynamic, and person-centred approaches, and through numerous courses and advanced training, I also became familiar with cognitive-behavioural therapy. I hold a vast number of certifications, training, and additional courses, too many to list in full.
A testament to my success and achievements in practice is the continuous flow of clients who come to me through the recommendations of former clients. Many return to work with me again, whether to address new challenges or to continue their personal development in other areas.
The values that guide my work in therapy include empathy, openness, patience, tolerance, and objectivity. I maintain ethical sensitivity, recognise and work with moral conflicts, and make decisions based on my judgement, guided by the core ethical principles of my profession. I am a good listener, skilled at focusing on my clients, and have a healthy sense of humour. I understand how to build a warm and supportive therapeutic relationship, providing a safe and nurturing environment for personal growth.
What particularly motivates me in my therapeutic work is the wealth of positive feedback and recommendations I have received throughout my many years of practice. I see therapy as a path to personal growth and a safe space for self-discovery.
I work with adults, teenagers, children, couples, and individuals of all genders. In addition, I am a clinical supervisor for other mental health professionals, including therapists, doctors, nurses, carers, and teachers.
Since 2019, I have collaborated with our local University Centre, where, as one of the trainers, I ensure the ethical conduct of counselling students. Recently, we have welcomed trainee students into our practice, where I oversee their supervision.
My mission is to support clients in discovering their inner wisdom and overcoming life’s challenges, enabling them to lead full and fulfilling lives.
