About me

I have 11 years of experience supporting people with a wide range of mental health and relational difficulties. Alongside my private practice, I work in the NHS as a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist.

I specialise in treating adult mental health conditions and offer evidence-based psychological therapy for anxiety disorders (including OCD, health anxiety, and specific phobias), depression, trauma, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. I have a special interest in supporting individuals experiencing work-related stress, anxiety, and burnout. I am also trained and experienced in adult Autism assessments.

I aim to create a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space to work towards your goals. Together, we will develop a shared understanding of your difficulties to create a treatment plan that is grounded in evidence and tailored to your unique needs. I draw on a range of models, including CBT, ACT, CFT, Trauma-focused therapy, Schema Therapy, and Systemic therapy.

I understand that starting therapy can feel like a significant step, so I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to discuss your needs and how we might work together. Whether we work together on a short or long-term basis, the duration and pace of therapy are tailored to your specific needs and goals.

I offer sessions in person (Central London) and online.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BABCP
British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
