About me

I help clients explore how early experiences may still be shaping their thoughts, feelings and behaviours today. My specialist interest is inner-child work, which can bring awareness to the values, beliefs and emotional responses formed in childhood. By understanding where these patterns began, it becomes easier to recognise what may be holding you back and to soften their impact with greater self-compassion.

My work is also informed by my African background, my identity as a woman, and my spiritual faith. For clients seeking a therapist who understands the links between culture, spirituality and lived experience, I offer a space that feels respectful, grounded and supportive.

I work with people who want to understand themselves more deeply, make sense of long-standing patterns, and create room for healing and growth. You may be exploring identity, family dynamics, self-worth, or emotional wounds from the past. Whatever brings you to therapy, I offer a thoughtful and caring space where your experiences can be explored safely and with compassion.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. Audrey is accredited by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), adhering to their rigorous Code of Ethics. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Psychological Society (BPS), underscoring my commitment to maintaining high professional standards and ongoing development.

In addition to private practice, I volunteer with respected charities such as Time Norfolk, offering counselling services to individuals dealing with a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

NCPS
National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Therapy services

I offer a thoughtful and tailored approach to therapy, supporting you to explore what feels heavy, confusing or hard to change. Sessions are available online and in person across Attleborough, Wymondham and Norwich as well as globally.

Single-session therapy:

Single-session therapy is available for those seeking focused, practical support without committing to ongoing weekly sessions. It offers a confidential space to explore a specific issue, gain clarity, and leave with fresh perspective, coping strategies, and a clear sense of next steps.

This approach can be especially helpful if you want support with something current and specific, such as feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, uncertain about a decision, or navigating a difficult situation. The session is collaborative and tailored to your needs, with the aim of making the time feel purposeful, supportive, and meaningful.

Areas of focus

Inner-child work and early belief patterns.
Trauma and complex trauma.
Low self-worth and self-criticism.
Repeating relationship difficulties.
Emotional overwhelm, anxiety and feeling blocked.
Identity, culture and spiritual concerns.
How I work

I draw on psychotherapy, CBT, somatic therapy and hypnotherapy to support a process that is both reflective and practical.

Together, we can explore the deeper patterns behind what you are experiencing, identify what may be keeping you stuck and begin to build a more grounded relationship with yourself.

What to expect

Your sessions offer a private, supportive space where you can talk openly without pressure or judgement. The pace is guided by you, and the work is shaped around what matters most to your healing and growth.
