About me
I offer a confidential, thoughtful, and non-judgemental space where we can explore whatever has brought you to therapy. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, loss, low self-esteem, or feeling stuck in recurring patterns, therapy can provide an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences. I work with adults on a minimum weekly basis. Depending on your needs and what we agree together, I also offer therapy twice weekly. I provide both short-term and longer-term psychodynamic psychotherapy, with sessions available in person at my consulting room in Swiss Cottage, North West London, or online.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified MBACP Registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist working with adults in private practice. Alongside my private practice, I have several years of experience working across the NHS, charity, and community mental health sectors, supporting people experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement, identity concerns, and complex emotional and personality-related difficulties.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step, and it is not always easy to know where to start. I usually recommend an initial consultation, which gives us the opportunity to think together about what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and whether psychodynamic psychotherapy feels like the right approach for you. Psychodynamic psychotherapy offers a space to speak openly about whatever is on your mind. Through putting thoughts and feelings into words, it is possible for new understandings of yourself to emerge. Over time, this process can bring about meaningful internal shifts, helping you to recognise recurring patterns, understand the origins of emotional difficulties, and relate differently to yourself and others. While our past experiences often continue to influence the way we think, feel, and relate to others, therapy is not only concerned with the past. We also pay close attention to what is happening in your life now, including what may arise within the therapeutic relationship itself. Exploring these experiences together can help us understand difficulties more deeply and create the possibility for lasting change.
