About me

I am a Chartered psychologist, registered with the HCPC with over 15 years experience in the field of addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I have a special interest in trauma, addiction and neurodiversity. My experience ranges from inpatient and outpatient NHS settings along with  private organisations. I am also trained in ADHD assessments, please contact me for a quote.

My therapeutic approach is designed specifically to fit the unique needs of my clients so as to enhance self-discovery, independence, compassion and personal growth along with recovery.

My underlying approach is a blend of eastern philosophy and evidence based practice. In practice I encourage the recognition of the mind-body connections along with trauma informed healing. In the last few years I have enhanced my ability to work with issues such as compassion fatigue, lack of connection with the self and 'feeling stuck in therapy'. I encourage my clients to establish an understanding of the self, identifying the function of maladaptive behaviour and working on root causes of behaviour which ensures a more sustainable recovery journey. More recently I have worked with clients presenting with ketamine addiction, anxiety, relational trauma, early childhood trauma and attachment issues.

Please contact me to book a telephone consultation to discuss further. Please note I do not respond to withheld numbers.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
