About me
Welcome. If life feels overwhelming or confusing you’re not alone. Whether facing anxiety, depression, grief, identity questions or addictive patterns, I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to be heard, understood and supported as you find your way forward.
What to expect
I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. My approach is warm, attentive, and curious—I will meet you where you are, and we’ll work together to make sense of your experience.
I am a qualified relational integrative therapeutic counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. My work is rooted in the belief that the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful space for change, helping you develop self-awareness, build self-trust and find new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Together, we may explore how your past experiences and early relationships shape your present, while also focusing on your capacity for growth, resilience and self-understanding. I draw from a range of approaches, including psychodynamic, humanistic and transpersonal perspective so that our work can be tailored to you as an individual.
Alongside my counselling practice, my background as a classical musician and teacher has deeply shaped how I listen and connect. I value creativity as a way of understanding ourselves and where it feels helpful, we might bring in elements such as writing, sound or mindfulness to access deeper parts of your experience.
I have particular experience supporting people with grief, trauma, sexuality, addiction and complex emotional difficulties. I currently work within bereavement and LGBTQ+ addiction services, and have previously worked in personality disorder and mental health support settings.
I aim to offer a space that is inclusive, respectful and welcoming of all identities, cultures, and ways of being.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained at the Mary Ward Centre and RHACC and have a professional qualification in relational integrative counselling and work as a trauma informed practitioner. I currently work as a counsellor for a specialist bereavement service and a LGBTQ+ addiction service. In addition, I have 6 years experience of working for a personality disorder service and as a recovery support worker for CNWL.
I have CPD training working with trauma informed perspective, attachment issues within grief, difficulties around sexuality and working with attachment issues.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
