My own personal experiences of Counselling for low self esteem many years ago inspired me to go into the profession. It helped me to grow in confidence and it changed the way I saw myself for the better. I wanted to understand the process to enable me to help my clients to experience the same positive outcome.
I can help you understand why you may be sabotaging certain aspects of your life, like your dreams, your Health and even your relationships. Understanding that part of you, will give you back control and enable you remove the obstacles standing in your way.
I offer a warm friendly welcome where you can speak freely and safely and you are accepted without judgement. Your confidentiality will be assured within the terms of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) of which I am a member. I am DBS checked and I am fully insured.
I can draw upon Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Gestalt and Creative Counselling to maximise and enhance your Counselling Experience.
Please contact me for an informal chat, if after speaking, you would like to take the next step, we can agree a suitable time where we can have an hour long counselling session to discuss the matter in detail. I look forward to hearing from you by phone, text or email. Annette

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
I can help adults who have experienced a challenging childhood. The child we once were doesn't disappear, they still exist within us, its the part of us that holds our fear and sadness, the part of us that hurts when we receive criticism from others but more importantly from ourselves.
I can work creatively to help you to understand the child within, this can enable you to reconnect with that part of you that has been denied and rejected and rediscover Self compassion, Self admiration and Self respect.
This type of Counselling can be very liberating in the way it alters how we see ourselves and enables us to develop an ability to assert ourselves to be considered and heard.
My charge is £50.00 per Hour for individuals, I can offer a reduced rate to Students and people on low income.
Couple Counselling is £60.00 per hour.
