About me
I'm a Level 6 qualified Integrative Therapist providing professional counselling and psychotherapy for individuals seeking effective, lasting relief from challenges including anxiety, trauma, menopause, anger, grief, stress and low self-esteem. I offer both in-person and online sessions.
But I'm also a real person living life alongside you.
I understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Whether you're navigating the emotional impact of menopause, coping with anxiety, healing from past trauma, managing grief, struggling with anger, or facing work-related stress, you don't have to face it alone.
I founded Anne Moore Therapy to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore what's holding you back, gain clarity about what needs to change, and develop the confidence to create a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling future.
As an integrative therapist, I tailor therapy to your individual needs because I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to emotional wellbeing. Together, we'll work at your pace to help you understand yourself more deeply, build resilience, and create lasting, positive change.
Whether you're seeking support for menopause-related anxiety and emotional wellbeing, recovering from trauma, managing stress, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to help you move forward with greater confidence and hope.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 6 Diploma in Counselling and completed my clinical training with the NHS Inter-Psyche Training Institute, providing me with a strong foundation in integrative therapeutic practice.
Alongside my professional training, I have experience supporting young adults aged 17 and over, particularly within a college setting, helping students navigate challenges such as anxiety, stress, self-esteem, relationships, identity, and life transitions.
I have also worked with individuals in the performing arts industry, including those in film, television, and theatre, and understand the unique pressures of creative careers, such as performance anxiety, demanding schedules, career uncertainty, and maintaining wellbeing in a highly competitive environment.
I have experience supporting clients experiencing the emotional and psychological impact of menopause, helping them explore symptoms such as anxiety, low mood, changes in confidence, stress, and the effect these can have on relationships, work, and daily life.
In addition, I work with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism, offering a supportive, collaborative, and neuro-affirming approach that recognises individual strengths while helping clients manage challenges in a way that feels right for them. I also welcome clients from the LGBTQ community.
My aim is to provide a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
