About me
I am a UKCP accredited Integrative Psychotherapist & Counsellor. I have a UKCP accredited MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and a BACP Accredited Diploma in Integrative Counselling from The Minster Centre, London. I am also a Clinical Supervisor.
I have extensive experience of working in primary care NHS IAPT (now called NHS Talking Therapies) and secondary care community services, higher education student counselling teams, bereavement services and in private practice. I work short and long term, face-to-face, online and via telephone.
As an integrative practitioner, I utilise various theories and practices of counselling and psychotherapy, but I lean towards a contemporary, relational approach. This means that, if working with me, I will consciously explore with you your present and past relationships and experiences and the impact these have on you today. This includes what happens within and between us in the therapeutic relationship. I would draw your attention to your internal world to encourage a deeper connection with and radical acceptance of current emotions, feelings and sensations within and between us. Cultivating awareness such as this can help unlock some deeply held unconscious experiences. I believe that, by working this way, we can develop a more balanced way of being in our external and internal worlds, ultimately leading to more positive relationships and experiences with one's self and those around us.

I attend regular clinical supervision and I engage in CPD to enhance my professional and personal practice.
I am also fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity cover.
Considering working with me?
In the first instance, please get in touch via phone or email with a brief description of what you are seeking support with so. If appropriate, we will arrange an initial consultation, which is an opportunity to explore what it is you need, your expectations of therapy and if I offer the right way of working for you. I will also go through my policies on confidentiality, fee payments, appointment arrangements and cancellations.
An initial appointment lasts 50 minutes and the fee for this is £60
If we agree to work together all future sessions for individual therapy are 50 minutes and the fee is £60

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
