Tired of feeling sad or overwhelmed?

Dysfunctional relationships affecting how you feel?

Want to make sense of your thoughts?

Is it time to invest in yourself?

Beginning therapy for some can be a daunting and anxiety provoking step to take but it can be a key opportunity to invest in yourself and work with the issues you are currently experiencing. Whether you are here due to mental health concerns such as depression or anxiety; personal development goals, such as increasing self esteem or developing assertiveness; or you are experiencing relationship problems or grief and loss, counselling can be very beneficial.

Hi, my name is Anna, our sessions will give you a safe space to share your thoughts and emotions allowing you to make sense of how you are currently feeling. From the outset I will offer you understanding, unconditional acceptance and empathy so you feel comfortable to share at your own pace. By using different therapeutic tools and approaches I will tailor therapy to your needs.

It’s natural to have some initial anxiety or hesitancy about starting our journey together but be rest assured I will be with you every step of the way. Understanding your feelings and thought process’s will encourage healing and growth so you can reach your full potential. For this reason, a free fifteen-minute consultation is recommended to ensure I am the right therapist for you.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
