About me
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming and confusing, and it’s hard to know where to turn. You might have clear goals and ideas, whether it’s addressing challenging feelings or behaviours in the present or unresolved issues from the past. Or perhaps you sense that something just isn't quite right. As a therapist, I offer my genuine presence to help you explore your experiences openly and authentically. In our work together, I create a space where you can slow down and make sense of what’s truly going on beneath the surface.
As an Integrative, relationally focused psychotherapist and counsellor, I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches to suit your unique needs and experiences. My work is grounded in a humanistic approach but also utilises concepts from existential, psychodynamic and relational therapies. I believe that our relationships with ourselves and others are shaped by past experiences, and uncovering old thought patterns can be both transformative and healing. At the heart of my practice is the belief that meaningful change happens through connection- when we feel truly seen and heard. Rather than offering advice or quick fixes, I work collaboratively with you to create a respectful, empowering therapeutic relationship where you feel safe exploring your current worries and understanding their origins.
Your therapeutic journey will be a process of discovery. This exploration can help you recognise new choices and perspectives, empowering you to make informed decisions about the changes you wish to create in your life. This process, while paced at your comfort level, may involve gentle challenge that encourages you to explore difficult emotions or confront old patterns. It’s not always easy, but it can be deeply rewarding and lead to powerful healing in your life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Level 7 practitioner with a master’s degree in Integrative Psychotherapy (with distinction) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). I regularly engage in continuing professional development (CPD) to ensure that my skills and knowledge remain current, so I can provide the best support possible for my clients.
Additionally, I am a clinical pharmacist in the mental health team. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare I observed that distress is often not truly understood, but instead medicalised or dismissed. If this has been your experience, it can leave you feeling unheard, invalidated, and disconnected from your own inner voice. My professional journey has reinforced my commitment to providing a more empathetic, welcoming, collaborative approach that helps you reconnect with yourself.
As a psychotherapist, I have supported individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relational difficulties and life transitions. My experience includes working in a charity, where I helped individuals with neurological conditions, including neurodivergent clients, as well as volunteering in a hospice as a bereavement counsellor. These experiences have reinforced my belief that true healing is not about temporary solutions but about uncovering the underlying causes of your struggles and working towards deeper understanding of your inner world. This can happen when we feel safe and connected.
Having personally navigated major changes, including moving abroad, I am particularly sensitive to the emotional complexity that these transitions can bring. My personal experience with therapy has given me a richer perspective of the process as I grew to appreciate the courage it takes to engage in therapeutic work.
I offer face-to-face psychotherapy/counselling at an office in Liverpool (Mossley Hill/Aigburth area). I work in the evenings and all day on Fridays. I also have limited space on the weekends. Feel free to get in touch with me to check my current availability. Additionally, I provide online therapy sessions via video calls or phone, if that is easier for you.
I am bilingual and work in English and in Polish.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Starting therapy can feel daunting, but it’s also an empowering act of courage and self-care. I offer a free 15-minute phone or online consultation where we can explore whether working together feels right for you. This is your time to ask questions, share your hopes for therapy, and determine if I am the right therapist to support you.
If this is your first time considering therapy, it’s normal to feel uncertain. I’m here to address any questions or concerns you may have. Please feel free to reach out via email, and we can take it from there.
