About me

I have worked with many different issues; whether you're facing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, depression, trauma, or navigating a life transition - I can offer you a safe, warm, non-judgmental space for you to explore all your concerns. I believe that true healing comes from looking at the whole person  - body, mind, and soul - and I am passionate about supporting you in achieving balance and well-being across all aspects of your life.

I believe everyone’s journey is unique, and I look forward to hearing your story and supporting you as you rewrite your future with confidence and purpose.

I offer dynamic online counselling & walk and talk counselling in the Causeway Coast Area. I am also opening up a waitlist for children & young people

Training, qualifications & experience

As a professional, registered Counsellor with over 5 years experience, I am committed to helping you navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. I hold a BSc in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy and have adopted an integrative approach that draws on a blend of person-centred, psychodynamic, and solution-focused modules, based on your individual needs.

I am also a qualified Outdoor Instructor and have taken individuals and groups on adventures since 2017 in and around the North Coast and the Highlands of Scotland. Many of my skills and experiences translate into my approach for the therapeutic benefits of nature and working outdoors.

I have recently completed a post graduate diploma in counselling children and young people and look forward to exploring the possibility of integrating minors into my practice

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
