About me
My name is Anna a dedicated and experienced counsellor and personal coach working in person and online with adults and young people (18+). If you find yourself on this page then I imagine you are in need of some support at this time. Perhaps you have been through or are going through a crisis, at a crossroads in life, or simply want to get to know yourself better. I am here to listen with care and sensitivity to your concerns, regardless of how distressing or upsetting your experiences or feelings may be.
Things I can help with: Anxiety, Depression, Family Problems, Fear of Failure, Health Anxiety, Relationship Problems, Neurodiversity, Parenting, Addictions. I am neurodiversity-affirming and home education-friendly. I have a particular interest in working with women feeling challenged by post natal depression, transitioning into parenthood, parenting, peri-menopause and juggling the many pressures of life.
We will talk through what's bothering you, at your pace, and get to the heart of the matter. If and when you feel ready, I can support you to move towards change with compassion and insight.
I understand that reaching out for help can feel really difficult. I have a wealth of life experience and have been through my own difficulties in the past. This gives me a down to earth, positive and nurturing approach with clients.
If you don't see your issue here, it doesn't mean I can't help. Please get in touch or visit my website for more details. I offer a free initial phone call.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
