About me
I am a UKCP-registered humanistic psychotherapist. I work with adults who feel hurt, confused, or lost in their relationships with partners, friends, or family members.
Maybe the relationship ended unexpectedly, or you discovered an affair, lies or other betrayals. You may be left wondering what was true, whether you could have seen it coming and how you missed the signs. You might now be asking yourself, “How can I trust myself again?” or “How do we move forward from this?”
You may feel sad, heartbroken, betrayed and confused. Perhaps you are unsure whether to stay, leave or try to repair the relationship. If you have chosen to stay together, you may be trying to rebuild trust and find a way forward.
You may also feel anxious about being in a relationship or find it difficult to let someone get close. Perhaps you want a partner but find dating discouraging, or you are wondering why relationships have not worked out for you. You may long for connection while also fearing rejection, disappointment or being hurt again.
I have lived in Europe and North Africa and, for the last 30 years, in the UK. These experiences have given me a cross-cultural perspective and an appreciation of how culture, family, identity, and belonging can shape how we relate to others.
Therapy can offer you a space to talk openly about what has happened and begin to make sense of it. Together, we can explore what you are feeling, what you need and what might help you move forward. My approach is warm, relational and collaborative, without judgement or pressure.
I work humanistically, which means I believe in your capacity for growth and self-understanding. Rather than fixing problems for you or telling you what to do, my role is to create a space where we explore what is happening, understand its origins, and find a way forward together. I am an active therapist: I ask questions, share reflections, and stay engaged throughout the process, so you are never working things out on your own.
Therapy with me is relational. The relationship between us is built on honesty, warmth, and genuine curiosity, and it is part of what makes change possible. I bring myself into the room as a real, present person. Over time, clients discover a stronger sense of what they need, so their relationships can begin to feel more mutual and fulfilling.
I know how vulnerable it can feel to reach out for support. My aim is to offer a calm, steady and respectful space where you can begin to breathe again. Email or call me to book a free 15-minute, no-pressure chat, and we will see whether this feels like the right fit for you.
I am dedicated to anti-oppressive practice and continually developing my work with neurodivergent (ADHD and autism) and LGBTQIA+ clients. My aim is to provide a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where every individual feels respected, heard, and supported.
Training, qualifications & experience

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I am 53, and I have lived in the UK for the past 30 years; before that, in Eastern Europe and North Africa, which means I bring genuine lived experience of immigrant life to how I listen, without assuming there is one right way to be a partner, a parent, or a person. Before training as a psychotherapist (MSc Humanistic Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute), I spent years in finance in the City while raising my family, so I know what it is like to hold everything together on the outside while something else is happening underneath. I know how vulnerable it can feel to reach out for support. My aim is to offer a calm, steady, and respectful space where you can begin to breathe again.
