About me

I am a fully qualified and registered Integrative Psychotherapist. I have gained experience working with women who have experienced childhood sexual abuse. Therefore, I am able to work with trauma related issues, shame, low self esteem and attachment related issues. In addition to this, I have experience working with issues such as anxiety, depression and grief. I have worked with people who are over the age of 16. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), and Attachment Theory (AT), I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can work together to explore and heal from past wounds. By using different techniques and concepts from the above theories, I am able to adapt and tailor our counselling sessions depending on your unique and individual needs.

I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges without judgment. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, or past trauma, I am here to help you navigate these issues with compassion and understanding. Through our therapeutic work together, we will focus on developing coping strategies, acceptance and fostering emotional resilience. My goal is to help you build greater self-awareness and work through life's obstacles, so you can move forward with confidence and a deeper sense of well-being. If you're ready to start counselling, I would love to be a part of your healing journey.

I provide a free 30 minute call, which consists of an informal conversation to see if we would like to work together. I am currently offering online and telephone sessions only. If you have any questions or would like to book a consultation, please get in touch via call or email.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
