About me
A very warm welcome. Are you looking for a supportive, reflective space to work through your difficulties? Sometimes it’s hard to talk to family or friends and we need someone who offers a fresh perspective with warmth and understanding.
Together we can explore whatever is holding you back and help you find a way to move beyond it. All topics and states of mind are welcome. Currently many of my clients are interested in uncovering a better sense of who they are, or finding their own authentic voice or inner strength, rather than pleasing others.
I offer collaborative, therapeutic sessions, where we focus on your hopes and aspirations. We will explore your current situation as well as some of your past experiences. Together we can discover the root of issues, foster an open-minded, compassionate approach, and move into a space of opportunity and learning.
My private practice is located in a quiet room overlooking a peaceful valley, just down from the Hillier Garden Centre on the outskirts of Bath. There is free parking (or it's a 15 minute stroll from the bus stop) and there's no stepping out on to a busy street after sessions, just onto a peaceful leafy lane.
Firstly, we can have a 15-20 min chat over the phone, or on zoom, to see if I may be a good fit for you. This is free of charge and a good opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have, and to talk a little about what brings you to counselling. We can then discuss together if weekly counselling sessions would be the way forward for you.
I believe every one of us has the potential to bring about change, to heal, to grow, and live a fuller, lighter life. If you think you might like to talk, then send me a message.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
