About me

I am an experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist. My approach is Integrative, which means I can tailor your counselling sessions in such a way that the time and space is effective and helpful for you and the challenges you are facing. I offer a warm, compassionate and safe space where you will feel heard, understood and supported. Working together, we will explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions in such a way that your past, present and future give way to you living well in the world amidst your own particular story.

I have extensive experience working with anxiety, loss, depression and trauma. I have a passion to journey with people through the 'big life changes' such as becoming parents, menopause, retirement, 'empty nest' syndrome and other family issues. I specialise in supporting people through all kinds of pregnancy and pregnancy-loss related challenges.

I am also a qualified Adoption Counsellor and Infertility Specialist

I am warm, caring and compassionate and wholeheartedly believe that talking with someone you trust, can be transformational

I work remotely by video or phone call and will initially offer you a short assessment session, free of charge, to ensure you feel comfortable before we begin.

Please contact me for further information or to arrange your free initial assessment

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and a member of BACP with over 12 years of experience.

Working through Talking therapy, CBT, Creativity or Mindfulness we can find a pathway that suits your needs and is meaningful to your story

My experiences include working alongside people with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, infertility, pregnancy, miscarriage and relationship challenges. I am also a qualified Adoption Counsellor.

I work remotely on phone or video calls at a time to suit you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
