About me

Right now, you’re stuck between what your life looks like to everyone else and how it actually feels to live it.

You love your family.

You’ve built a good life.

But something needs to change.

Not because your life is bad but because you’re tired of feeling stuck and like something is missing.

You’re constantly questioning:

"Is this just me..is it the menopause..or is it just the relationships around me?"

You don’t know what to do but you need to do something.

You’re terrified of getting it wrong.

You talk to your friends but you don’t tell them everything.

You ask chat GPT:

  • “Is this the menopause or am I just unhappy?”
  • “How do you know if your marriage is over?”

You use posts on instagram to help you feel better about yourself.

You need a break through.

Maybe you’re looking for permission to leave.

Waiting for something to happen.

Secretly wishing there was an affair or some undeniable proof that something is wrong.

Not because you want that to happen but because it would make the decision for you.

But what you acctualy need is a way forward.

A chance to reconnect with yourself and create something more.

A space to discover what lights you up, what matters to you and what you want from this next chapter of your life.

A space to feel like you again and discover what you’re capable of.

A space to be honest and feel supported away from family and friends.

Because sometimes the thing you’re missing is just yourself.

Therapy with me is not about telling you to leave your relationship or turn your life upside down.

It’s simply about helping you reconnect with yourself away from your family and friends.

A space for you to figure out:

  • how you really feel
  • what you actually want
  • who you are underneath all the responsibilities, the pressure and the expectations you’ve carried for so long

My approach is gentle, honest and grounded in real life.

No therapy jargon. No judgement.

Don’t wait for breaking point to turn it around.

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

Finding the right therapist is a fundamental part of the counselling process. Feeling comfortable and connected is key to your overall experience and outcome.

The best way to discover if we are a good fit for each other is to meet, either by telephone, video call or in person.

That's why I offer the free introductory call.

It's an opportunity for us to meet.

I'll explain the way I work and you can ask any questions you might have.

We can talk through your hopes and expectations of our time together and we'll both get a feel for how our sessions will be.

I work flexibly and adjust session plans to suit your needs and desired outcomes.

There is no pressure to take it any further, I always recommend speaking to a few therapists first, you'll know when it feels right, and I urge you to trust that feeling.

I offer you a calm space, in a relaxed rural setting.

A safe space where you can untangle your thoughts and reconnect with yourself.

Where you can be real and honest about what you're experiencing.

Together we can take steps towards change.

Change doesn't have to be dramatic, it doesn't mean a complete overhaul of your life, it's just looking at new ways of managing the demands you face so you can move forward in a positive way.
