About me
In-person therapy sessions are currently available in central London on Thursday mornings/ afternoons and Friday afternoons/evenings.
Hello! If you are reading this page, something in your emotional experience needs to be attended to, and I want to acknowledge that taking the first step toward seeking help can be challenging. You may feel stuck, in despair or worryingly numb, with no words for it, no way to understand it. You may feel alienated from yourself and those around you. The world might feel like an unfriendly place. You may have a vague feeling that life is not supposed to feel the way it does.
Psychological and emotional challenges are common and can affect anyone at any stage of life. It is essential that you find a space geared to what is unique to you and your experiences.
I welcome enquiries, and if you would like to have a discussion regarding the possibility of working together, please contact me by email and I would be happy to arrange a 15 minutes introductory call with you.
I am a fully qualified and insured psychodynamic psychotherapist with experience in specialist NHS settings and Community Mental Health settings. I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds facing a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges.
Through my experience supporting adults with complex needs, I have come to deeply appreciate the value of long-term psychotherapy, which allows for the continuity and depth needed to address chronic anxiety, depression and personality disorders, fostering meaningful and lasting change toward a more fulfilling life.
My experience in IAPT community counselling has shown me that for many people even brief psychodynamic work can deepen self-understanding and clarify past and present challenges. We can focus on a particular concern and decide together how many sessions would be most suitable to explore this.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and take place at a dedicated time each week, reserved exclusively for you.
My consulting room is conveniently located in Waterloo, Central London, with easy access to public transport.
I practice psychotherapy with integrity and curiosity, creating the space for meaningful exploration and lasting change.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
The Initial Consultation fee is £90.
The consultation is longer than the regular sessions. It provides an opportunity to explore your situation and your personal history, and how psychotherapy might be helpful for you. The decision to commit to further sessions – whether open-ended or time-limited – will be made based on our discussion and your circumstances.
After the initial session, we will agree on a regular, dedicated time slot for your ongoing sessions. Please note that all sessions, whether attended or missed, are chargeable unless I am the one to cancel.
Regular weekly sessions fee is £75. The sessions are 50 minutes.
You will be invoiced after each session.
