About me

Hello, I am Alexander, an experienced cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist offering online and face-to-face sessions in Kensington and Clapham. In addition to my private practice, I serve as the clinical lead for an NHS service specialising in the prevention and treatment of psychosis and bipolar disorder.

Some of my clients come to therapy with a clear idea of the challenges they would like to address, such as anxiety, OCD, trauma, or depression. Others may feel unsure about the source of their distress. Wherever you are on your journey, I aim to provide a warm and supportive environment to explore your concerns. My approach is grounded in the latest scientific evidence, tailored to help improve your mental health and overall well-being.

I have extensive experience working with a broad spectrum of mental health challenges and diagnoses, utilising evidence-based psychological therapies. My background includes adapting therapy for LGBTQ+, marginalised groups, neurodiverse clients and those with conditions like schizophrenia. Alongside my private practice, I have worked in various NHS services, including Talking Therapy Services and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) in Evidence-Based Psychological Therapies and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Counselling. I am a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), the UK’s leading organisation for CBT and a recognised accrediting body by healthcare institutions and private insurers.

These qualifications and affiliations reflect my commitment to delivering scientifically grounded psychological therapies.
