About me

My service includes webcam sessions internationally and face-to-face sessions in Manchester for those seeking help with developing psychological wellbeing.

We all have the potential to disturb ourselves, and so it is important to learn the ways we can help ourselves get unstuck. My work style is systematic and we can approach working with the difficulties you now face. I make no constraints on your perceptions, but instead invite to to consider what is most reasonable for you. You find your own advice and move with integrity.

Know these difficulties will not last for all time, as we can change our outlook on life in order to move through. My own life experience was transformed and enriched when I came across this approach that has a philosophical basis. Through our work together and your tasks between sessions you can reconnect with what is important to you and find your direction.

Training, qualifications & experience

I received a Foundation Certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling in 2012. Further training gave me first a diploma and then an advanced diploma in CBT/REBT.
Upon continuing my professional and personal development I gained an advanced diploma in Integrative Therapies that supports psychodynamic, hypnotherapy, and other technical interventions to work more personally and covering specific areas of your experience. Working for the NHS, I gained a Long Term Health Conditions certificate.
My experience ranges from working in Agencies as volunteer for a number of years; The SWAN Project in Bristol, Turning Point in Trowbridge, Anxiety UK internationally via Skype as volunteer and sessional worker, and working in private practice in my treatment rooms in Trowbridge, then in Wolverhampton and Manchester including 2.5yrs working in IAPT Step 3.
This work brings me great joy, both for my own understanding and also as witness to the many people that have benefited from this work by learning new ways of being.
