About me
Feeling lost, confused, anxious, low, or just feel like you need a safe space to talk with no judgement? You are in the right place, I am here to help.
I work as as an integrative therapist. This means that I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, and aim to tailor sessions to suit your own unique and individual needs, as I don't believe in a 'one size fits all' approach, thus offering a much more personalized and positive therapeutic experience.
I work in a very relatable and down to earth manner. I favour a more practical approach to therapy where appropriate and will often give my clients exercises to practice outside of sessions, for purposes of self-development and coping.
I have extensive training and experience in working with adults and teenagers in processing, managing and overcoming challenges. I have worked successfully with issues such as addiction, OCD, ADHD, trauma, body dysmorphia, depression and anxiety, low self-esteem and confidence issues, separation and divorce, bereavement, gaslighting, bullying, gender and identity and relationship problems to mention but a few.
I have a wealth of life experience in both dealing and working with a multitude of issues, enabling me to better relate and empathize with my clients and what they may be going through.
I myself have also been a client of counselling, so I really do understand how it can feel like a somewhat daunting experience when you take those first steps into starting therapy. I can assure you that it really isn't as scary as it might seem and that there is absolutely no shame in admitting that you can't always do everything on your own. Rest assured I will help you to feel at ease as you enter into what may feel like the unknown.
Additionally, while I conduct my practice from home, sessions are held in a garden office which has been specifically designed for counselling sessions. I have purposely gone above and beyond to create a space and environment that feels both neutral and safe so that you, the client, can feel as at ease, safe and comfortable at all times throughout the therapeutic process.
As I know finding the time to attend counselling can often be a challenge in itself, I offer maximum flexibility to suit your schedule, offering evening and night time sessions as well as morning and daytime appointment slots Monday to Friday.
Please don't hesitate to contact me via email or telephone if you require any further information or are interested in booking a session.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
