About me

Hello and welcome! I am a person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist and I'm offering face-to-face, online and telephone therapy for adults and young adults (18+). My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy works best when you feel genuinely valued, understood, and accepted.

Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed by experiences that are hard to express; memories and emotions that feel too heavy, or the ongoing effort of keeping it all together when things feel far from okay. Therapy offers a place where you do not have to manage it alone.

In our sessions, you’re welcome to bring the parts of yourself that feel messy, confusing, or difficult to share elsewhere. I offer a calm, grounding presence and stay alongside you with empathy, acceptance, and respect. My aim is to understand your world as you experience it, without judgment or pressure, so you can begin to make sense of what feels overwhelming and reconnect with your inner self.

I have a particular interest in trauma, but I have experience of supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, loss, burnout, low self-esteem, experiences of abuse, and family and relationship issues.

I offer f2f, online and phone therapy in English, Serbian, Bosnian, and Croatian.

I am currently taking on new clients, with morning, afternoon, and evening availability, as well as limited weekend options.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified, insured and registered counsellor and psychotherapist (MBACP).

Qualifications:

CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling - Person-Centred Approach
BA (Hons) in Pedagogy, University of Banja Luka (2020)

My background in pedagogy supports my understanding of emotional development, early life experiences, and the ways these shape us in adulthood.

I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly complete CPD in areas such as trauma, neurodiversity, cultural sensitivity, and mental health in general. I attend regular clinical supervision to maintain safe, ethical, and reflective practice.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

My practice is centred around offering a warm, accepting, and empathic therapeutic space where you can slow down and explore whatever feels important. You do not need to come with a clear starting point - we can take things one step at a time and follow what feels right for you in the moment.

Whilst I have a particular interest in trauma, I also have experience supporting clients with long-term emotional difficulties, grief and loss, low self-esteem, burnout, family or relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and the quieter challenges that accumulate over time.
