About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood?
If you are struggling with Anxiety, Depression, or the weight of Trauma, finding the right support can feel like a daunting task. You might be experiencing a quiet dip in self-confidence that impacts your career, or perhaps a deeper struggle with self-esteem that shadows your relationships and daily well-being.
Whatever brings you here, I offer a calm, confidential, and non-judgmental space in Chelmsford, Bishop’s Stortford, and Online.
My Philosophy: Reconnecting with Your Inner Strength
I believe that even when life feels heaviest, the capacity for change remains within you. Often, our darkest moments make it difficult to see our own potential, but no matter where you are starting from, there is a way through.
We may not always control what happens to us, but we can reclaim the power in how we perceive and move through our experiences. While facing change alone can feel daunting, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we will work to clear the mental fog and build a sense of clarity, allowing you to view your world and yourself with a fresh perspective and hope.
How We Work: Deeper Understanding for Lasting Change
My practice is grounded in Psychodynamic principles, which means that while we address your immediate concerns, we also look beneath the surface. I tailor my approach to your unique needs, offering both open-ended therapy and structured, time-limited counselling (12–24 sessions) focused on specific goals.
By looking deeper, we can explore:
The Root Cause: How past family dynamics or trauma may be influencing your present reactions.
Breaking Patterns: Identifying the unconscious habits that keep you feeling "stuck."
Authentic Self-Esteem: Moving beyond surface-level confidence to build a genuine sense of self-worth from the inside out.
A Neurodiversity-Affirming Space
I have a special interest in supporting the neurodivergent community. If you have ADHD, Autism, or Dyslexia (or suspect you might), you likely know the sheer exhaustion of "masking" to navigate a world that wasn't built for your brain.
In our sessions, you don't need to explain your brain. I work in a way that respects your unique wiring. We move away from the idea that you need to be "fixed" and instead work toward self-understanding, resilience, and a life that fits you.
About Me
Beyond the clinical labels, I am a human being who cares deeply about the "helping professions." As a BACP-registered counsellor and a Safeguarding Lead for a local counselling organisation, I bring a high standard of ethics and experience to our work.
From navigating chronic depression to healing painful family issues, my goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
