About me

Do you feel overwhelmed by difficult emotions, unsure how to move forward, or as though you are holding everything together on the outside while feeling very different inside? You might notice anxiety, emotional numbness, hypervigilance, or a sense of exhaustion from trying to cope alone.

Perhaps you have learned to push away painful thoughts just to get through the day. Or maybe you are beginning to recognise that past experiences, whether from childhood or adulthood, may still be affecting how you feel, relate, and respond in the present.

You might question whether what you went through counts as trauma, or wonder why certain patterns keep repeating in your relationships, emotions, or sense of self.

If this feels familiar, therapy can offer a space to slow down and begin to make sense of these experiences at your own pace, without pressure or judgement.

My specialist focus is trauma focused psychotherapy, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and Rewind Trauma Therapy. EMDR is an evidence based approach that supports the brain in reprocessing distressing memories so they become less overwhelming and less present in daily life. Alongside this, we may also work with different approaches and nervous system regulation, depending on your needs.

You do not need to explain everything perfectly or know where to start. We will work gently and collaboratively, always moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

My approach is not only about reducing symptoms, but about helping you reconnect with yourself, understand your patterns, and begin to feel more grounded and in control of your inner world.

Healing is not about erasing the past, but about changing your relationship with it so it no longer holds the same intensity in your present life.
