About me

Hi there and thank you for clicking,

My name is Aileen and I am Person Centred Counsellor working in the West End and Glasgow City areas. I am also an experienced free-lance trainer and lecturer of counselling, I have been working in all three areas for a number of years.

I am experienced in working with, but not limited to, the following issues:

  • Relationship difficulties
  • Friendship difficulties
  • Family dynamic difficulties
  • Exploring LGBTQ+ identity
  • Loss, grief, bereavement
  • Change and transition in life
  • Pregnancy, termination and fertility
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Loneliness
  • Self esteem
  • Trauma
  • Life changing illness diagnosis and transition

Taking the decision to come to counselling can be a daunting and emotional one. You may have had good or bad experiences of counselling in the past or have never been before, all of which may influence your decision to engage with counselling.

From my experience, clients frequently come to me for counselling as they find it too difficult to speak to family, friends and partners about challenging or unsettling issues or feelings. The counselling room offers the neutral space that can allow you to talk openly, freely and without judgement. Please check out my website for more detailed information.
