About me

You don't have to carry this alone.

If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, low, or stuck, therapy can provide a safe space to understand what you're experiencing and find a way forward. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but finding the right therapist can make a real difference.

I’m Afikha Islam, a Cognitive Behavioural and EMDR Psychotherapist specialising in anxiety, trauma and self-esteem. With over 10 years of experience working within the NHS, I support adults experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties.

My approach is warm, compassionate and non-judgemental. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to you, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Using CBT, EMDR and trauma-focused approaches, I will work with you to understand your experiences, develop practical tools and make meaningful changes.

I offer confidential online therapy for adults across the UK. If you're considering therapy and would like to explore whether I could be the right therapist for you, I'd be happy to hear from you. I offer a free discovery call where we can talk about what you're looking for and whether I can support you.

PLEASE NOTE

EMDR is a specialised psychotherapy. Due to the complex nature of this work and required clinical supervision, EMDR sessions are priced at £120.

An initial assessment session is required before commencing EMDR treatment in order to ensure suitability and treating planning.
